Florida Snowbird Luncheon Report

Yesterday (February 24,Thursday),we celebrated our annual Michigan Good Sam Snowbird Luncheon .It was a beautiful day ,clear and sunny and in the low 80's. It was held again at the North Golden Corral in Lakeland ,Florida. It was attended by 49 members and 6 guests. This was the smallest member attendance that we have had in a number of years. Once again Chapter 52 had the largest number of members in attendance. Other Chapters represented were 92,80,39,20,55,38,and 70. We were honored to have 6 current staff members and 4 past staff members there. We also had 2 very special guests there. They were Willie and Nancy Vanderbrink from the Tampa Camping World Store. Both are Ambassadors for Camping World. Again, they came bearing gifts. They gave everyone a Goody Bag. Also in attendance was the State's Past Director,Joe and Cherly Halhober. Missing from the group was our own home grown story teller and humorist,Larry Cripe.A good time ,food and fellowship was had by all.

Restraurant is located North of I-4 Exit 32
Please wear a name tag, Good Sam shirt or a Chapter shirt if you have one.
