Bob Graham had foot surgery on the 29th of September. Went back on the 3rd of October to have the dressings redone. On Thursday the 13th I go back again and have the stitches removed. The surgery was for Cancer on the right foot. The biopsy have all come back and now I am cancer free again. It was called a basal nodule carcinoma and was on the top of the right foot. The Surgeon said that in his 32 years of practice that he had never had a patient with one on the foot. He even took pictures of it and me. He said that most normal people have them on the face, neck, back or arms . Guess I'm not normal. Guess that brings you up to date for now. Marion Hall - Assistant State Director for the Good Sam Store at our rallies had a heart catherization on Monday, November 7 and is going in for open heart surgery Friday November 11 in the am. Marion had a heart valve defect and they are going to repair or replace it. She will be having the surgery at the Bay Cit Regional Medical Center and is expecting to be in the Hospital approximately 1 week after the surgery. She is going to need a lot of Prayers and Well Wishes during her recovery.

Update Message from Steven Farr - Asst. State Director of Safety on Monday, November 28, 2011 @ 9:39 p.m.
Marion had her surgery on Monday, November 14. Once inside the heart the Doctor's were able to repair the heart valve rather than having to replace it, but also found another valve with problems and were able to repair that also. Approximately a 4 hour surgery. She was placed into ICU for 3 days and then to a regular room until Saturday, November 19th when she came home. She has a visiting nurse and a physical therapist every other day, but has a big to do list for Husband Dana every day. Marion is now up to taking 5 minute walks every day (and other exercises) to regain her strength and mend her sore body after the surgery, I am sure that she could use some prayers and well wishes which can be sent to the address above.

I had occasion to talk with Jim Peck this evening, Ethel Pratt (Jim's sister) had hip replacement surgery recently. She has done well and is getting ready to move in with her son for a period of continued recovery.
