To all chapters:
We have made some changes to the upcoming Samboree at Covenant Hills Campground. Please contact your chapter members and let them know.
1. We extended the cut off to August 30, 2010 since we have had a lot of phone calls.
2. Since this is a campground we are going to allow limited camp fires weather permitting.
There will be at least one community camp fire in the area west of the Auditorium and each
chapter may have a camp fire. A chapter representative will have to sign a form with rules to
be followed which will be available from the State Director or Asst. Director for Safely (Steve
Farr).
3. The early bird price ($15) is less than half of the normal nightly stay at this camp ground so
come early and enjoy this beautiful campground with hiking/biking trails, swimming, fishing,
and short drive to Frankenmuth. Early bird starts at noon on Tuesday.
4. Dining hall will open Thursday morning serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
5. Catered dinner in the dining hall on Saturday is $10 per person for your choice of Baked
Chicken or Roost Beef, Mashed potatoes & gravy, green bean casserole, corn, salad, dinner
roll and a drink. Tickets/sign up information will be available in the registration area.
6. No camp fire wood may be brought on to the campground property. Fire wood and ice is
available from the camp store at a very reasonable price.

8. Turn off for the camp ground is well marked with cross and sign on northeast corner Farrand
Rd and M-15 intersection.
